Posted: 2010-09-07 14:10:24 Please join us this Thursday, September 9, from 5-8 pm for our closing reception Imagine Everywhere, through September 18. 4th Annual Columbia College Art + Design Faculty Exhibition Imagine Everywhere is about the strategies, visions and horizons that artists offer to the forces of globalization. Artists include Whitney Huber and David Follmer, Louise LeBourgeois, Marlene Lipinski, Marilyn Propp, Arti Sandhu, Miklos P. Simon, and essayist Corey Postiglione. This reception is a part of Columbia's annual Fall Art Walk, an evening of
art, culture, music and dance all around campus. See you Thursday!

Posted: 2010-09-07 14:40:02 Mano/Mundo/Corazón: Artists Interpret La Loteria Exhibition: September 9 - December 10 Opening Reception: September 9, 5:30 - 8:30pm The exhibition includes a curated selection of films, photographs, installations and paintings featuring work by Don Colley, Jim Finn, Maximo Gonzalez, Adolfo Patiño and others. Newly commissioned works on paper, each based on a Loteria card. Participating artists include Maria Gaspar, Daniel Guzman, Felipe Ehrenberg, Gabriela Alva Cal y Mayor, Fred Stonehouse, Marilyn Propp, Mauricio Limon, Michael Pajon, Miguel Cortez, Javier Carmona, Michael Scoggins, Humberto Duque, Alexis MacKenzie and more.
