Containing Emotions: Bowls Sunday, July 25 12-3 pm

Join the Smart Museum for a reading workshop that examines feeling -- the dimension of experience where sensation meets emotion -- in relation to objects often overlooked due to their fundamental utility. Led by Matthias Regan, participants will consider ordinary and extraordinary bowls and read excerpts from poems and essays by Gertrude Stein, Martin Heidegger, Lorine Niedecker, and John Dewey.

Presented in conjunction with "Good Design", on view at the Smart Museum through September 5.
